Sourena Vasseghi, who has cerebral palsy, has become an inspirational speaker and author

Sourena Vasseghi, a 2001 USC graduate, has cerebral palsy, but he’s not letting it bring him down.
Just the opposite, in fact.
He has become a well-known motivational speaker, turning the challenges in his life into a springboard for encouragement for other people.
“Sourena has a tremendous story,” Coach Pete Carroll said. “He’s an inspiration for everyone, anywhere. He’s just a great guy.”
Vasseghi gave a motivational talk to the Trojans after a practice last week, emphasizing that limitations should never prevent someone from reaching a final goal.
“Together, on this team, in this season, you can achieve greatness,” Vasseghi told the players. “If you band together as one, there’s nothing you can’t accomplish.”
Vasseghi speaks at functions dubbed “Love Your Life” and has written a book with the same name. Carroll is even quoted on the front cover: “Sourena’s heart and passion for living has inspired me and changed my life.”
